HOPE

今天的核心經文對我們每一個基督徒而言，應該是人人皆知的。那就是耶穌在約翰福音 14:6 所說的，“我就是道路，真理，生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裏去”。此外，耶穌在 14:10–11 還說，“我在父裏面，父在我裏面，你不信嗎？我對你們所說的話，不是憑著自己說的，乃是住在我裏面的父做他自己的事。你們當信我，我在父裏面，父在我裏面；即或不信，也當因我所做的事信我”。

在這裏，讓我們看到：

1. 四福音書中記載了很多耶穌所行的，如我們熟知的迦南婚宴中的由水變酒，和五餅二魚等等的神跡。正如耶穌自己在第 10 節所說的，這些神跡都是神透過耶穌完成神他自己要做的事情；神跡，英文是 “sign”，被稱為指示燈或路標。透過神跡讓我們看到耶穌是從神而來，是神的兒子，並且聖父聖子合而為一；
2. 耶穌身上神的屬性不是單單從神跡來的，換句話說，單從神跡中看神的屬性是很有限的。真正認識耶穌的神性是從耶穌的話來的。耶穌說，“我就是道路，真理，生命”。想想看，人類歷史中有哪一個人敢講這樣的話？只有神自己才會這樣說。

今天，就讓我們先來更深地看一下耶穌所說的，“我就是道路”。

道路（way）是連接一點到另一點的管道，方式和方法。道路是有方向的。講到人生的道路，耶穌說，我就是那一條路，這裏告訴我們，他就是所有問題的答案和解決方法。為什麽是這樣的呢？我們知道，其實每一個宗教都有自己的方法，佛教有佛教的方法，道教有道教的方法，可是沒有一個宗教稱自己就是道的本體。只有耶穌說，“我住在你裏面”。耶穌如何能住在我們裏面呢？林前15:45說，“首先的亞當成了有靈的活人，末後的亞當成了叫人活的靈”。這就是說，耶穌死而復活之後成了賜人生命的靈，從而他就能住在人的心裏面了。

一個教會能成為合神心意的教會，也是要走在耶穌基督的道路上。“耶穌就是道路” 歸結起來，我們看到：

一、這是一條信心的路。

信心的路是要每一天學習的。聖經裏說，“義人必因信得生”（羅 1:17）；“義人的路如黎明的光越照越明，直到正午”（箴 4:18）；“我們得救是本乎恩，也因著信”（弗 2:8）。我們要在信心和愛心上不斷地成長。一個教會能夠蒙恩是因為它的信心被神所記念。剛剛結束的我們雅歌堂教會 2011 年在大陸的宣教實在是一條信心的路。

二、這是一條恩典的路。

如保羅在提前 1:13–16 所說的，“我從前是褻瀆神的，逼迫人的，侮慢人的；然而我還蒙了憐憫，……我主的恩是格外豐盛。使我在基督耶穌裏有信心和愛心”。所以說，真正的信心和愛心是從神的恩典來的。正因為我們知道我們是不配卻蒙了恩典的人，我們才會有正確服事的態度。我們雅歌堂教會在宣教事工上的參與實在是神的恩典。

三、這是一條十字架的路。

馬可福音 8:34–35 說，“若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我”。這意味著說，我們跟從主服事神，我們 “老我” 的生命要被破碎，拆毀和對付之後重新建立一個新的生命。這條路雖然不易，但是我們相信神的道路高過我們的道路，神的意念高過我們的意念。

四、這是一條蒙福的路。

幾次的大陸宣教讓我們清楚地看到中國正走在蒙福的路上。

五、這是一條唯一的路。

因為沒有別的路。耶穌是神，也是完全的人，他把神與人的路打通了，“他給我們開了一條又新又活的路”（希 10:20）。這條路是在耶穌基督自己這個幔子裏面，讓我們重新回到神的面前。使徒行傳4:11–12，彼得說，“除他以外，別無拯救；因為在天下人間，沒有賜下別的名，我們可以靠著得救”。這是神向人啟示的最高唯一的道路。

六、這是一條得勝又得榮耀的路。

我們雅歌堂參與這些宣教事工，讓我們看到我們教會扮演了一個蠻重要的角色，那就是把大陸的教會和臺灣的教會聯合起來；也讓我們看到神的得勝和神得榮耀在中國這片土地上。

最後，願我們一直走在耶穌基督這條道路上，成為別人的祝福！

我們深思的問題

請認真思考 “耶穌就是道路” 這句話。

The key verse of today’s sermon is the well-known saying by Jesus as written in the book of John: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Also, Jesus claimed in verse 14:10–11, “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.”

In these verses, we have seen:

1. The four gospels recorded many signs/miracles Jesus performed, such as transforming water into wine at the wedding at Cana, and feeding the multitude with five loaves and two fish. Just like what Jesus said in verse 10, it is God who fulfills His plans through Jesus. We can see Jesus is from God, He is God’s son, and He lives in God through signs He performed.
2. The attributes in Jesus are not only revealed in signs and miracles. In fact, signs only show a limited view of God’s attributes. It is from Jesus’ words that we know Jesus’ attributes. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” Let’s pause here and think: who in human history dares to say this? It is only God who can say this.

Today, let’s think harder on Jesus’ saying: “I am the way.” A way is a tunnel, a channel, or a method to connect one point with another. Jesus claims that He is the way, which means He has the answers to all questions and the solutions to all problems. How is this possible? As we know, Taoism has Taoist traditions. Buddhism has Buddhist concepts. But no belief claims they are the way itself. Only Jesus “dwells in your hearts.” How can Jesus dwell in us? 2 Cor 15:45 says, “The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.” This is to say that the spirit which assented to man after Jesus died, buried and resurrected, can live in man’s lives.

In order for a church to fulfill God’s will, it has to walk in the way of Jesus Christ, We can list the following six things to interpret the meaning of “Jesus is the way:”

1. It is a way of faith.

Faith is the way we experience life everyday. Bible says “The righteous will live by faith” (Roman 1:17). “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day” (Proverbs 4:18), “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith” (Ephesian 2:8). We need to grow continuously in faith and love. A church is blessed because of its faith in Christ. The China mission trip in 2011 was a way of faith.

2. It is a way of grace.

Just like Paul said in 1 Timothy, “Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.” Therefore, true faith and love are from God’s grace. Since we are not worthy, but being justified freely by his grace, we can have the right serving attitude at church. Our involvement in the China mission is really God’s grace.

3. It is a way of the cross.

Mark 8:34–35 says, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” The old self needs to be broken, torn down, and changed. A new self should be reshaped. It is not an easy way, but God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

4. It is a way of blessings.

We can clearly see China is walking in a way of blessings during our China mission trips.

5. It is the ONLY way.

Jesus is God, and He is also a complete person. He connects the way between God and man. “By a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body” (Hebrews 10:20). Jesus Himself is on the other side of the curtain, allowing us return to God. Peter said, in Acts 4:11–12, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” This is the only way God revives men.

6. It is a way of victory and glory.

In the involvement in the China mission, our church takes a very important role: connecting the churches in mainland China and Taiwan. We also see God’s glory and victory in the land of China.

At last, let’s walk in the way of Christ and become a blessing to other people.
